IVF Success Rates in San Antonio

It’s important to consider IVF success rates when selecting a fertility center

Fertility treatment is an investment in your future family, and you don’t want to leave something that important to chance. To make sure that you’re partnering with a fertility center that can give you the best chance to achieve your family-building goals, you should review IVF success rates for each clinic you’re considering. Our San Antonio fertility center is proud to consistently produce IVF success rates that are well-above the national average.

Our IVF success rates speak for themselves

The Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) provides an annual report that offers a look at the national average for IVF success rates, as well as a breakdown of success rates by age and fertility center.

IVF success rates demonstrate what percentage of a fertility clinic’s patients conceived after an in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle. Although each patient is different, and high success rates do not guarantee that you will conceive, they do suggest that a fertility clinic is more likely to help you bring home a healthy baby.

Our San Antonio fertility center is proud of our high IVF success rates that exceed the national average in every age group. Our experienced board certified reproductive endocrinologists and embryologists in the lab use advanced diagnostic tools, fertility treatments and laboratory techniques to help us achieve the following IVF success rates for patients using their own eggs.

What to know about IVF success rates

Our San Antonio fertility center team wants women and men to know how to look at IVF success rates. It’s important to consider more than just the pregnancy rates. The following factors are also important.

  • The percentage of cycles with single embryo transfers (eSET)
  • The average number of embryos transferred
  • The percentage of pregnancies with multiples
  • The number of cycles performed at each center
  • The number of donor egg cycles

Some fertility centers have good pregnancy rates because they transfer several embryos or perform a large number of donor egg cycles. At our San Antonio fertility center, we strive to just transfer one embryo at a time to reduce the risk of our patients having pregnancies with multiples. We also work hard to help our patients conceive using their own eggs whenever possible. Our physicians love taking on the challenging cases because we believe that all women and men deserve a chance to become parents.

The data above represents cycles for all IVF patients. SART does not allow member clinics to show separate data for patients who underwent preimplantation genetic testing with IVF. PGT significantly increases live birth rates per embryo transfer for all patient age groups.

Required by the SART marketing committee: “A comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because patient medical characteristics, treatment approaches, and entry criteria for ART may vary from clinic to clinic.”
