Summer James, MD, San Antonio fertility doctor, provides expert care and guidance to couples and individuals seeking world-class treatment at Texas Fertility Center – San Antonio.
Dr. James believes that every man and woman deserves to fulfill the dream of becoming a parent, and she will design a customized fertility treatment plan at our San Antonio fertility center to help expedite the process. Dr. James provides a variety of specialized services, including IUI, IVF, PGS, fertility surgery and donor services.
About Summer James, MD, San Antonio fertility doctor
Dr. James completed her undergraduate studies at Ohio Northern University, and earned her medical degree from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Honing her leadership skills as Academic Chief Resident, Dr. James went on to serve as a clinical instructor of obstetrics and gynecology. She earned accolades for her research into advanced laparoscopic surgery.
After OB/GYN residency, Dr. James continued her training with a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility.
Dr. James maintains membership in the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists and the esteemed Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. She has also worked to advance the field of reproductive medicine by contributing to research about polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and advanced laparoscopic surgery.
Our San Antonio fertility doctor diagnoses and treats all causes of male and female infertility. She has a special interest in helping women find fertility success after a PCOS diagnosis. Dr. James takes pride in educating and empowering patients to select the best fertility treatment plan for their unique situation.
