What are the requirements to become a surrogate?
Nothing is more important than your health and safety. To make sure surrogacy will be a safe and rewarding journey for you, CSP has requirements for women who want to become a surrogate. Here’s a quick overview of these surrogate qualifications.
- Have a BMI no greater than 31
- Be between the ages of 21 and 41
- Have had and be raising at least one child
- No cigarette smoking
- Have a source of income
- Be free of anxiety or depression medications for at least one year under doctor guidance
